I’ve owned various systems over the years, and this OGY combo is simply the best I have owned. These are keepers. I have owned Martin Logan and Magneplanar before, but not had open-baffle speakers before. I am sold on this typology. Effortless, tuneful and amazing clarity without any room mode issues usually associated with bass reflex or enclosures. Also wonderful at low level, almost negating the need for headphones if listening late at night, such is the coherence of these. There is definitely a sweet spot on my Cayin HA300 Mk2 (8w SETA amp), but just works so well!

I’ve owned Harbeth P3 40th, Harbeth 30.2, Martin Logan Ethos and Vantage, Magnepan LRS, Graham LS9, Avalon Arcus, Wharfedales, Loth X, ProAc, Tannoy Gold and Kudos speakers to name a few. The Closer OGY + OGY’s Bass are just perfect for me, in my room, to my ears. Fantastic with acoustic and well recorded sources, but also brilliant with garage rock, indie, dub reggae. I wasn’t expecting such a capable all-rounder that never fails to make me smile.

"Gdy rozpakowałem te głośniki pomyślałem sobie, że ktoś sobie chyba zrobił jakiś żart... Przecież to maleństwo nie może grać, a jeśli już, to na jakikolwiek bas nie ma żadnych szans. Nie mogłem się bardziej pomylić. OGY grają fantastycznie, zawstydziły dwukrotnie droższe Fyne Audio Classic VIII SM, z których byłem bardzo zadowolony. Fyne Audio również produkuje zestawy, które mają jedno źródło dźwięku, jednak są tu dwa głośniki i zwrotnica. W OGY jest jeden głośnik, nie ma zwrotnicy i to słychać, a raczej nie słychać problemów które wynikają z zastosowania zwrotnicy. Jestem zachwycony tak średnicą jak i wysokimi tonami. Są detaliczne, precyzyjne, a przede wszystkim przyjemne w odbiorze. A bas? Owszem, nie schodzi może tak nisko jak Fyne Audio, ale to nie znaczy że go nie ma, że jest z nim jakiś problem. Brzmi świetnie, jest sprężysty, szybki. Planuję jednak za jakiś czas uzupełnić dźwięk najniższych częstotliwości o głośniki B.O.B. sprzedawane przez Pana Jacka.tak czy inaczej jestem pod wielkim wrażeniem OGY. Co więcej, jak się okazało miłośniczką OGY jest także moja małżonka. Powiedziała, że nigdy nie widziała równie pięknych głośników. Cóż... jak się okazało słuchanie muzyki nie było jedyną przyjemnością jaką sprawiły mi OGY :)Cóż można więcej powiedzieć - Nirwana."
